Since 1998, we've been proud to help create DTC sales opportunities for wineries by increasing direct shipping. We couldn't agree more with this statement from a recent Forbes article - “While one consumer’s voice can be impactful..., collective action and many voices all talking in unison can be very powerful.” 

Our goal has always been to ensure consumer choice in wine. We advocate augmenting, not replacing, the three-tier system with limited, regulated direct to consumer shipping. 

Now, more than ever, consumers are driving changes in how products are bought and sold; they want and expect to be able to purchase wines they want in the manner of their choosing: online, by phone or text, through periodic winery club shipments, etc. 

Since 1998, Free the Grapes! has harnessed the power of the consumer voice to execute state-specific campaigns to support favorable bills which help grow the DTC marketplace for wineries through legal, regulated direct to consumer shipping. We provide a ready script for consumers to use that is designed to speak to their legislators and cut through the noise.

We’ve been successful in helping to open most states in the U.S. to winery to consumer shipping and we have consumer support to thank for that. But our work is not done, stay with us!
